Our Process

Our Unique Process for a Successful Kitchen or Bath Remodel

Consultation

We start with a consultation at your home or a review of blueprints to gather general information and measurements for the design process.

Design and Selection

We then formulate a design and layout based on your preferences and needs. We then meet with you to review the preliminary design. You can make selections for cabinet style, counter materials, colors and other details. Once you have made your selections we place the order for the required products and schedule the project.

Job Scheduling

The project schedule is determined based on the delivery of materials and the scope of the work.

Giordano Cabinets
1891 Watertown Ave.

What products and services do you offer?

We offer three different cabinet brands to fit your needs and budget. We also offer a range of counter surfaces including laminate, solid surface, quartz, and granite. Decorative hardware, plumbing materials and flooring can also be provided as needed.

Where do we begin?

The process starts with a meeting with a designer who will get to know your tastes, goals and needs. We will then take in-home measurements at no cost to you. From there we will create 3D drawings for your review and refinement.

Who will I be working with?

Owner Robert Emfinger is involved in every step of the design and completion of your project. Robert will also be present on-site during the installation/renovation. We also work with licensed, insured contractors and tradespeople who will show the utmost respect while working in your home.

What should I do to prepare?

It can be helpful to gather ideas and pictures from magazines or catalogues to give your designer a sense of your likes, dislikes, and lifestyle. It’s also a good idea to review your budget and be prepared to discuss your priorities in order to stay within that budget.

How long will the project take?

The timeline will vary depending on the scope of the renovation. The design process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the complexity and number of revisions. Scheduling is typically about six weeks from the time of commitment to the project. The average kitchen project takes about three weeks, but this can vary based on the specific work involved.
